David O’Connell is a licensed structural engineer in multiple states with over 15 years of experience in the design of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures. He has designed projects ranging from high rise buildings to short retaining walls and many things in between. Dave has experience in analysis, condition assessments, and new design of steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures. Known for his ability to think outside the box and develop unique solutions to unusual problems, he never gives up on helping to achieve the client’s goals in a timely manner. Dave leads the structural team at IES, while working directly on many projects.
